Arvigo® Self Care Workshop

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® (ATMAT) incorporate massage, herbs, nutrition, meditation and emotional/spiritual healing into a holistic approach for wellness and disease prevention. Experience how the ancient healing and bodywork techniques of the Maya can support your reproductive, digestive, circulatory, emotional and spiritual health on this 2½ day immersion for all stages of life.

Concerns addressed include painful or irregular periods, PMS, endometriosis, fibroids, fertility challenges, difficult menopause, post cesarean or hysterectomy scarring, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, bladder infections or incontinence.

This course empowers you with knowledge and skills to use your own two hands to help yourself. This massage is an external, non-invasive abdominal therapy. We learn to reposition internal organs that have shifted and release adhesions and scar tissue to restore the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and energy for optimal health. Participants receive a private 30 minute educational session for evaluation and guidance. This class prepares the student to perform these techniques on her/himself only and is a prerequisite for Level 2 Professional Care Training.

$ 450 class fee includes light refreshments, workbook, and a 30 minute hands-on teaching session with an Arvigo® pracititoner.

Join Natasha for an afternoon of aromatic education.  We will smell and discuss some of the more common and versatile essential oils as well as some common carrier oils that can be used with essential oils.  We will explore aromatherapy history, differences in extraction methods, methods of application, basic blending, choosing quality oils and safe usage.  We will then discuss the reasons for using essential oils and ways you can use them to improve your physical, psychological and spiritual well-being as well as to complement other therapies and treatments.  For this class we make a 6 oz sea salt/magnesium body scrub for you to take home with you.  You can then use the basic recipe to make some for your friends for the holidays!  Kits of the oils we discuss during the class will also be available to purchase.

Natasha has been studying and using essential oils for 8 years.  She is currently undergoing 450 hours of training through the West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy to be a practicing Clinical Aromatherapist.  She has a business that specializes in custom essential oils blends for all needs.
